FG42 was designed for using mainly without the bipod. Again FG42 should have its place rather than being useless. Its a game not a simulator, its supposed to be fun. This game is realistic in aspects but that doesnt mean again its fully realistic. Guess what? The StG is the better option. That's how the gun performed in real life.
Gotta have some reason to manage your ammo.
